Picture Postcards from the Everest Base Camp Trek

by shortgirlontour

The views from the Everest Base Camp Trek took my breath away! Quite literally too! The trek was my number one bucket list for more than a decade and I finally got to tick it off my list in November 2023. The trek takes you 12 days through the Solkhumbu region of the Himalayas with some of the most beautiful 360 degree views I have ever seen. I honestly could not stop taking pictures and stopped ever so often to do so. In this post , I will attempt to select my best pictures from the Everest Base Camp trek and present them to you!

Sunset and the World’s most dangerous airport.

Animals are an essential part of the Himalayan Transportation System.

Everest (tallest peak jutting out on the left) on a clear day.

Walk always to the left of any religious monument or prayer wheel.

The ever present (at lower elevations) baby blue Milk river.

The Milk river again but this time with the Hillary Bridge (the longest and highest suspension bridge) in the background.
